The defender has been out since August due to an Achilles injury, having played just once in all competitions for Barcelona this term.
Flick's side fell to third in La Liga after suffering two consecutive losses last month, but have started 2025 in strong form.
They have won four matches in a row in domestic cups, progressing to the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey while also winning the Supercopa de Espana title by beating Real Madrid last Sunday.
Flick is now keen to build on that momentum in La Liga, with Getafe up next in the league.

"For me, it's important to be honest with the players. I was honest with him. It's his decision," Flick said.
"We have talked about the possibilities he has. If he wants to stay, fine... we'll look after him. Maybe he can go back to how we want to see him.
"Let him talk to me, and we'll see what his chances are. Depending on what he tells me, I will be honest and tell him the truth."
